Shahid Multiple Campus, located at the center of Rampur Municipality in the eastern part of Palpa district, was established in 2048 B.S. This campus is affiliated to Tribhuvan University. This campus has been named as ‘Shahid Multiple Campus’ on the deep respect of martyr Surya Prasad Ghimire who lost life in the movement of 2046.
This campus got affiliation to run classes of Proficiency Certificate Level in Humanities and Social Sciences in 2048. Few years after its establishment, in 2054, it got affiliation from TU to run the classes of Bachelor Level in the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. It got affiliation from Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) in 2054. Later, in 2061, it got permission for running classes for Bachelor level in the faculty of Education. Likewise, it was permitted to run Bachelor in Business Studies (BBS) classes in 2066, and Master’s Level class in the faculty of Education in 2069.
It is a purely non-profit oriented public college. Inspired by a desire to impart higher education in the local level, the college is working its best. It has a plan to start Masters’ level classes in English education and MBS within some years. Now it has been running with about 400 students and 32 teaching and non-teaching staff.
